Join our dynamic team as an In Process Control Laboratory Analyst where you will work with cutting-edge technology, performing critical analyses, to support the manufacture of the medicines of the future.
What You’ll Do:
- Support the set up and introduction of a laboratory within APICOM – our new state of the art API manufacturing facility at College Park, Dublin.
- Conduct laboratory tests to support operational activities
- Record and interpret data, ensuring compliance with quality standards
- Collaborate with scientists and other team members across the AstraZeneca network on research and development
- Support continuous improvement and innovation in laboratory processes
Essential Experience:
- B.A. / B.Sc. or equivalent in Chemistry, Biological Sciences, or other biotechnical science or equivalent experience in regulated industry.
- Minimum 2-5 years of laboratory experience in a GMP laboratory
- Proficiency in analytical techniques commonly used in API testing, such as HPLC, GC, and KF.
- Knowledge of cGMP regulations and guidelines governing pharmaceutical quality control.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document test procedures and results.
Desirable Experience:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels of the organization.
- Experience in pharmaceutical technical transfer process within a laboratory environment.
- Experience in establishing a new laboratory with regulatory compliance.
- Good knowledge of IT systems.
